Globalheart Leadership College is excited to offer the following subjects in 2025!

Old Testament

TUESDAY 10AM - 12PM

Facilitator: Januel Obmerga

It’s our origin story. It’s the first instance of God revealing Himself to humanity. It points forward to Jesus, and it provides glimpses of the Holy Spirit at work. To understand who we are today, we need to go back to the beginning. Our salvation story is framed by the people and promises that are found in the OT. This book is rich with the Truth of our unbreakable covenant with Yahweh. We pray this course will lead you into a greater understanding of God’s relevant and unfolding plan for His people.

Faith and Purpose

TUESDAY 1PM - 2PM

Facilitator: Lyn Kennedy

There is a great spiritual battle raging for the hearts and minds of men and women around the globe, a cosmic struggle between Truth and a morally indifferent culture. Thus we need a Christian worldview, grounded in the redemptive work of Christ and the grandeur of God, that gives us a sense of God’s plan and purpose for this world. Our worldview shapes our identity. It provides a framework for ethical thinking. This unit offers students the opportunity to discuss the applications of a Christian Worldview to different areas of our lives.

Pastoral Ministry

WEDNESDAY 10AM - 11AM

Facilitator: Ps Mari Moore

Today’s world faces a lot of challenges. Family and relationship turmoil, injustices, increased isolation and loneliness, a lack of community, and overall division. Social media, the pandemic, heightened political divisions and increased violence have all contributed to these issues. This subject aims to equip you with the skills to care for people spiritually, emotionally and physically, and to walk alongside them in their Christian formation.

Personal Leadership

WEDNESDAY 11AM - 12PM

Facilitator: Dave Harding

Jesus modelled a style of leadership that prioritised the needs and well-being of others. So what does this mean for us and how we are meant to lead ourselves?

Some of the great topics discussed in this unit are:

Having a personal vision & goals; self-discipline; self-awareness; emotional intelligence; working well with others; communication skills; critical thinking; discernment; problem solving; and resilience.

Chapel

At Globalheart Leadership College we love to start our day with Chapel.

On Tuesday, Chapel’s are a time for spending time in God’s presence, journalling, sharing what God is saying to us, and worshipping God together.

On Wednesdays we start the day with worship and then we have the privilege of hearing from one of our Pastor’s or key leaders as they share from God’s Word.

Chapel is a beautiful time of prayer, learning to hear from God, and how to minister to others.

Practical Placement

Character growth is a huge part of the College experience, and the majority of that happens through taking part in a practical placement in your local church.

Students will be assigned a Mentor for the duration of their time at College, and will have the opportunity to help in a variety of areas to build God’s house.

With a focus on servant leadership, godly character, and attention to detail and excellence, the habits you learn will help you to excel in any field or job.
